Our story

We started with one question: why do patients leave without their medicine?

A patient walks out of their specialist's rooms with a script for an eye medication they need to start today. At the pharmacy they hear “we'll have to order it in.”

Specialty medicines are expensive to hold, have short shelf lives and often need cold storage, so most pharmacies can't afford to keep them on hand. The result is delayed therapy, frustrated prescribers and lost patients.

Onvara was built to close that gap. We own the stock, we carry the risk and we do the logistics. Pharmacies get a full specialty shelf, prescribers can be confident their patients start treatment the same day, and patients get the care they were promised.
